Hands off Boston Bay is a coalition of community, environmental, tourism, scientific, & business voices that reject a desal plant being built in the prime recreational, environmental, & community hub that is the Billy Lights Point area.

There are alternative desal plant locations the government should look at that won’t cost the community, environment, jobs, & the economy.

Dr Paul McShane is a marine biologist and consultant who provides advice on sustainable aquaculture practices both nationally and internationally. In his estimation SA Water & the government haven’t properly assessed the risks to the marine life in Boston & Proper Bays.
